What should I do when I drop my vehicle off?
Your service appointment is a time specifically scheduled to meet your Service Advisor without undue delay (this is not necessarily the time the vehicle is scheduled to go into the shop for service). During the meeting, review your service requests with the Service Advisor and point out any special problems. Review the vehicle's repair order, which describes problems and details the work to be performed, along with any special instructions. Please bring your warranty booklet, extended warranty policy, and/or owner's manual.

Busy Schedule?
Cox Quick Lube is your answer. We'll expedite your oil change needs. Our goal is to get you in and out as rapidly and efficiently as possible. We will complete the Lube, Oil, & Filter in 29 minutes or less or its FREE…on the spot! We also perform a 10 point safety check at the same time - at no additional charge.

Service & Parts Center Open Saturdays
Our Service Center, Auto Body and Parts Center are now open Saturdays 7:00 a.m. 'til 5:00 p.m.

Appointments will save you time.
Call ahead to make a reception appointment in our Service Center. A reception appointment helps meet your needs - and ours. Rush hour and waiting times are reduced. Also, this allows your Service Advisor to spend more time with you discussing your vehicle's service needs. Your reception appointment is a time specifically scheduled to meet your Service Advisor without undue delay - this is not necessarily the time the vehicle is scheduled to go into the shop for service. During this meeting, review your service requests with your Service Advisor and point out any special problems. He will write the repair order for your review and take care of any other special requests you may have.

Custom Automotive Dealer Website Solutions Customer Lounges
Cox maintains two beautiful customer lounges for the comfort and convenience of our customers. One is located next to the Service Reception area, and the other at our Auto Body center. At Cox, we service all sizes of motor homes. We have the facilities and equipment to handle your regular maintenance and major chassis and engine repairs. We are a General Motors certified motor home chassis repair facility.

If you need to drop your vehicle off before or after business hours, use our new, convenient After-Hours Key Drop. Located on the West side of the Showroom Building, the After-Hours Key Drop is lighted for your safety and has a supply of Repair Instruction Envelopes.

Courtesy Shuttle Service
The Cox GM Goodwrench Service Center and Cox Auto Body Center offer FREE Courtesy Shuttle service anywhere within an 8-mile radius of our dealership including Longboat Key and Anna Maria Island. Our shuttle can provide transportation to and from your home, office or favorite shopping center. Currently, our shuttle operates weekdays with service beginning at 8:30 am and continuing throughout the day. FAMILY OWNED AND RUN SINCE 1926!
The Cox family according to family lore has been in the automobile business since the early 1900's. During the teens and twenties they operated a Ford franchise in Ocilla, Georgia. During the boom years of the Roaring Twenties they moved to Avon Park, Florida where they operated a Dodge dealership. Cox Chevrolet, Inc. has a long and interesting history.

With over 80 plus years experience in the successful operation of automotive dealerships, the Cox family and all of its loyal employees have earned a respectable and secure place in the Bradenton community.
